If I could give a zero star rating, I would! We tried DD for the first time today and I cannot express properly in words the level of incompetence regarding the service and the quality of the food. How do they stay open? Occasionally on Sunday mornings we will order breakfast from a local restaurant. On this particular Sunday we went to Dunkin Donuts because we all got up late and they offer breakfast sandwiches all day. Plus, we were also craving donuts. Bonus right? Wrong! We went through the drive-thru for convenience leading to a ten minute wait for them to give us the food after ordering. Not a long time in general, but an eternity for a drive-thru restaurant. They were out of bagels and croissants, so we settled for English muffins. We get our food and head home only to find that several of the sandwiches didn't have egg. Huh? How could they forget to put egg on an egg sandwiches?! They even forgot to give us one of our ordered sandwiches. So we had to go back and have it corrected only to find later that the donuts we ordered were stale! The biggest waste of $46 I've ever spent! McDonalds, I won't complain about your breakfast or your service ever again.

So there are two major donut franchises here Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts. So what's the difference with the two? DD has more variety of donuts. They have your normal donuts, plus cake donuts (ex. red velvet, blueberry, etc.) and many different cream filled ones and not just jelly. I do like their munchkin options compared to other places. Other donut places have just glazed donut holes. They have that plus jelly filled and cake donut holes/munchkins (red velevet and chocolate). I would just come for these since I like a little bit of variety instead on just one donut. They should add a cream filled to this if possible, like the Bavarian cream or something. KK has less options but their donuts melt in your mouth (ex. Glazed). They have them served warm to you as well if you go to an actual KK instead of picking it up from else where. So as far as donuts go for the two franchise DD has more options (eg cake donuts) and KK has better quality (regular) donuts.

I should start this off by saying I am one of Dunkin's biggest fans. I'm originally from the East Coast where we have mini Dunkin Donuts shops in some of our gas stations (so convenient!). I moved to Southern California 3 years ago where there was NO DUNKIN until about a year ago...ever since I was driving 20 minutes out of my way on my way to work to get my favorite iced coffee. That being said, when I found out we were moving to Salt Lake City, one of the first things I checked was whether or not there was Dunkin here and I got super excited to see there was, woohoo! However, I've been to this location 3 times now and every single time they've messed up my order. My order isn't anything too crazy: iced coffee, french vanilla shot, whole milk, sugar. The first time I went they used cream instead of milk. Not my favorite, but I'll take it. The second time, they must have used the sweetened flavor swirl (instead of the unsweetened flavor shot), still added the sugar, and added the cream (wrong again), to give me a drink that was so gaggingly sweet, I could barely drink it. I had gone through the drive thru for this order and didn't realize how it tasted til I was long gone. I ended up coming home, brewing a 10oz. cup of plain coffee, adding it to the iced coffee, and it was STILL too sweet. Ridiculous. Today I decided to order the coffee black and was going to put the milk in at home, that way there was no room for error, right? WRONG. I ordered a large, and for those who don't know, Dunkin has a specific formula for sugar, milk/cream, and flavoring: small = 2, medium =3, large = 4). When I asked for the flavor at the drive thru, the guy asked "one shot?", and I told him to make it as they normally would a large. Well apparently to him, one shot means pretend it's an extra small (which doesn't even exist in the Dunkin world), and I ended up with an unflavored coffee. I also got a straw that isn't even tall enough to fit in the cup - I normally wouldn't complain about that, but it's just the icing on the cake. I get it, a place can have a bad day. My husband is a General Manager of a restaurant and I get that things go wrong and I'm typically very accommodating to issues. But this is the third time I've had the simplest thing messed up at this location. I'm not sure if the employees need more training or what. The downtown Salt Lake City location is GREAT, and I would go there if it wasn't such a hike. Maybe this location should take a few pointers from that one. Let's hope this location gets their act together because I'm addicted to Dunkin and I'd like to not continue having problems with my order...

I called in a large order for a party 3 days in advance. I went to pick it up and they didn't have it. They said they lost my order. So they looked it up and found it and said they could make it in 20 minutes. 20 minutes later, they hand me 7 boxes of the entirely wrong donuts. I don't know what order they "found" but it wasn't mine and they didn't even bother to confirm apparently. They ended up making 7 boxes of the right donuts, but now I'm 40 minutes behind. I asked if there was a discount for the trouble, but no. No one even seemed to realize that this was a problem. A week later I'm looking over my checking account and I see that they charged me twice. There were 2 different charges on that day for a total of 14 boxes of donuts. Not a happy customer.

We came here for lunch and I have never been to dunkin donuts before. I got the frozen coffee coolata and it was very similar to a frappé. Very sweet and had crushed ice in it as well. They didn't have the crispy chicken for the bacon ranch sandwich, so I had mine grilled. I LOVED the hash browns it was crispy and delicious!

Honestly not bad! I live close and the coffee is cheap so I frequent it. That being said about 80% of the time the order is correct but they do screw up the orders A LOT! It's always a gamble whether they get it right or not. But the staff is quite nice and always has been, I have noticed they typically just have young teens working. They should have an adult shift manager in my opinion. Also their chai is disgusting because it's just a powder, I mean cmon.

Horrible selection, rotten service and yet expensive. I lived on the east coast and DD was always a great experience. This store however is really bad. On Sunday morning when you'd expect a great selection they have only about 6 choices. Plenty of staff but no one seems to know how to make donuts or plan for the morning rush. Black lady who is some type of "manager" was surly when I mentioned that for three weeks in a row there is no selection. We went over to Harmons and got better selection, larger donuts and great service. This place is a horrible representation of the DD brand.....

Tonight was my third visit to DD since it has opened. I told myself I wouldn't be back after the first two visits but my hubby loves the donuts. I'm not much on donuts but I do love a good drink. So far all visits have left me feeling disappointed and I'm not planning on spending anymore of my money here. Tonight's French Vanilla Coolatta really killed it for me. It was like drinking the imitation vanilla extract right out of the bottle. The iced coffee and latte on my first visits left something to be desired as well. 3 strikes you're out DD.

I've waited to go so that the "newness" and kinks have worked out, and what a mess. I took the girls through for a treat and asked if they served donuts. I got an enthusiastic "yes" but...... we only have certain types. "Oh ok, what kinds? Give me a mixed dozen. " "We're not allowed to sell you a dozen sir!" "Are you kidding me!?!?!" "No sir, my manager says I can't" "But I'm willing to pay way too much for a deep fried piece of bread. You're going to lose some business on this one." I can't understand the thinking behind this. From the previous reviews, I've got to think that the management isn't working this thing out yet. Whatever. Went to cold stone and gave them my business for OVERPRICED dessert.

It has been 5 months since this Dunkin Donuts opened and getting a donut and coffee still feels like pulling teeth. Their employee training program seems to be non-existent. It feels like a bunch of high school students decided to open a DD and this is the result. The only time I've had a decent experience is when the district manager was there. The donuts are good but the customer service is horrible. At this point in time I think I'm going to stop going here and maybe check back in a few months. I'm not holding my breath though. If they couldn't get it together in 5 months I doubt another few months will make a difference.

First, let me start off with the fact that no one was more excited to have a DD on this side of town than I was. Being stuck with such limited options in the SLC valley has actually been disappointing to this point. I travel all the time and usually DD is always a "known" thing. You can stop in and get what you want anywhere you are. With all of that being said, I have been to this location 3 times, including opening day late morning, around 10AM. All 3 times I have been disappointed. The 45 min wait in line on opening day was to be expected. The lack of employee understanding that you have been waiting of 45 min and not trying to help speed things up, unacceptable. Don't introduce yourself to me and then ask me for my name when I clearly just want to order. I work in customer service and understand the mindset to it, but as a customer I would rather have you adapt to the situation than stick to the script. The lack of a PA system to announce which order was ready was also not to be expected. 25 people standing at the counter waiting on their order was ridiculous and caused major issues with people trying to get orders and walk out after paying. The fact they got our order wrong, 2 breakfast sandwiches was also not to be expected. Chalked it up to a new location and new employees and the issues of being under fire all day on opening day. The one thing that really perplexed me was that my donuts tasted a little stale. How is that possible when you have that many customers? Went back for the second time a week later to try it when things had a chance to calm down a bit. First thing we order they are out of, The Smokey Links Breakfast sandwich. Second option, which I have forgotten at this point what it was, they were also out of. Disappointed yet again. Order a couple donuts and an iced coffee. Eat the donuts while waiting for them to make the iced coffee. Donuts tasted stale again and so did the iced coffee when I got it. Ugghh! Went back today for the third time and after seeing 8 cars in the drive-thru lane I decide to walk-in. Again disappointment. No Smokey Link Sandwich. "We keep running out." I walked out. Good thing I didn't trust them to have what I wanted to start, because then it would have been 20 minutes sitting in my car being pissed off they didn't have what I wanted and having had to wait in line just to go somewhere else. I like DD and I hope this place gets better, but at this point I just can't go back any time soon.

I like their donuts and their sandwiches come with the added bonus of bomb bread. As you bite into a sandwich the roll litterally explodes into a deadly shrapnel of deadly crumbs. Their sandwiches are small but cheap so plan on a couple for a normal, American-sized fatty lunch.

The oatmeal that is described on the online menu is served with dried fruit, while the oatmeal served here has none, and the 2 employees I spoke to about it said they had never heard of it coming with dried fruit. There was no spoon provided to eat the oatmeal, no napkins, and the bacon egg and cheese bagel was reported to me to be " so-so". The coffee was delicious, however!
